"The act of high-speed design based on fundamental theoretical research to maximize the generation of ideas,” reads the introduction of Axel Schindbeck’s thesis. For his degree he designed one new product every day during 10 weeks in a move to demonstrate their extremely short life-span. Some of the products make sense, others don’t, which is something the designer consciously intended  .. there is a touch of ingenuity about these everyday items ... Schindlbeck  is interested less in the aesthetic appeal of design products , but more in everyday objects that forge a link between man and technology" Stylepark 2015.

Axel Schindlbeck graduated in Industrial Design from Stuttgart Art Academy in 2008. He worked for Sigi Moeslinger and Masamichi Udagawa in New York City in 2009 and then relocated to Paris – for love and the firm of Mathieu Lehanneur, where he spent four years working as Lehanneur’s assistant and head designer.
